September 18. Maui Marathon & Half Marathon.
Meet at Whalers Village, 5:30 a.m. The 26 mile course, voted one of the most scenic marathons in the U.S. goes point-to-point from Kahului to Kaanapali along a coastal route. The half marathon is out and back from Whalers Village in Kaanapali and passes through Lahaina town before turning around at Lauiupoko Park and returning to Kaanapali.
